Top Recipes from Around the World
As I explore the world through this blog, I often come across dishes that genuinely positively surprise me, my wife, and sometimes the people we cook for. These are the dishes we keep talking about long after the plates are empty.
This list, of course, is entirely subjective. It doesn’t claim to represent a country’s cuisine or even dishes as a whole, but rather highlights specific recipes that really stood out to us in terms of flavor, balance, etc.
Without further ado, here’s my ever-growing list of World to Plate All-Stars.

Quick bites, sandwiches, and small dishes: often the first thing you eat when arriving somewhere new.

Starters, Sides, Veggies
Soups, salads, and small plates that set the tone for a meal, as well as the quiet stars of many cuisines. Some support, some steal the show.
